Our Mission

Capitalizing on the growth potential of commercial renovations for hotels, university housing, retail, nursing care, resort, and other real estate  investment projects, AllStar Renovations, Inc. is a nationally recognized company, focusing on high-quality alterations. The renovation of a property is a vital stage in the life cycle of any real estate investment holding.  Our mission is to deliver innovative pre-construction planning strategies to our clients and contribute to their property's success with on time/on budget value-added renovations.

AllStar Renovations' President, Dale Tammen, began his wallcovering career in 1971 in Illinois as an assistant to an established wallcoverings contractor. In 1981, Dale moved to southern California and worked for several large commercial wallcovering contractors. He opened his own wallcoverings company in 1984.

Over the last twenty-five years, Dale Tammen has earned a national reputation as a master wallcoverings craftsman for commercial and high-end residential projects. As a result, AllStar Renovations is able to bring beauty, lasting quality and innovative solutions to the most challenging projects. 

In 2005, Dale Tammen restructured his business model to focus primarily on hotel renovations, university student housing and other commercial projects. 

Gina Gillette, CEO, joined our team in 2004 as director of business development and real estate investments. Gina is a licensed State of Illinois real estate broker and real estate appraiser, certified residential mortgage loan officer, experienced multi-family property manager, real estate investment consultant and interior re-designer.  She has sold over $5 million in residential real estate investment properties, conducted well over 4,000 property inspections, and has received several O.S.H.A certifications. 

Ms. Gillette has also served as a director of project funding for a Chicago-based private equity organization, specializing in funding real estate investment projects ranging from $500K to $500 million. In 2005, she became a consulting member of Vista Research's Society of Industry Leaders, a Standard and Poors subsidiary. She is also a member of the Strategic Management Society.

Gina is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield, Magna Cum Laude.  Currently, she is pursuing her MBA (Finance Concentration) at Nova Southeastern University's Huizinga School of Business and Entrepreneurship in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Her expected graduation is in 2009.
